The Turkish-American Businessmen Association (TABA) presented “Success Awards” to 22 Turkish prominent business people, including Ali Koç, A. Nazif Zorlu, Güler Sabancı, Aydın Doğan and Arzuhan Yalçındağ, who have made great contributions to the improvement of relations between Turkey and the USA.

The Turkish-American Businessmen Association (TABA AmCham) that conducts activities to improve the trade, investment and cultural relations between Turkey and the USA awarded the outstanding companies and business people that have made great contributions and rendered important services for the improvement of relations between the two countries with success plaques and certificates.

The prominent companies and business people received their awards, which are presented every two years by the Association, in a ceremony held at Ritz Carlton Hotel yesterday. 

Ph.D. Zeynel Abidin Erdem, the Chairman of TABA AmCham, who delivered a speech at the ceremony, said, “Our Association is an important establishment that strengthens the trade relations between Turkey and the USA. The politicians and the bureaucrats of both countries provide great support to our operations.”… Abdülkadir Konukoğlu , Ahmet Nazif Zorlu, Aldo Kaslowski, Ali Koç, Ali Sabancı, Arzuhan Yalçındağ, Aydın Doğan, Egemen Bağış, Ersin Özince, Faruk Eczacıbaşı, Ferit Şahenk, George Alsop, Güler Sabancı, Kaya Tuncer, Mehmet Cengiz, Mehmet Emin Karamehmet, Nafi Güral, Nuri Artok, Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Şarık Tara, Tuncay Özilhan and Turgay Ciner received their awards at the award ceremony, during which Mr. İsmail Cem, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, made an assessment of foreign policy of Turkey.
