A new world order is being set up, and Turkey takes its part. Turkey plays a role model with its secular and democratic structure. In the new world order, Turkey creates alliances between countries with common social, cultural and strategic goals. Being a regional power is not enough any more. Regional status is not enough for Turkey. It’s a slippery ground in this geographical zone.

We should have global goals. We should use Turkey's potential by expanding to other continents, not merely a region. Our country is on a stable way, politically, socially and economically. We succeeded individual development. Now the next stage is to have a say globally. Actors of the future in the new world order are the U.S.A., China and Russia and European Union. EU is s power which cannot be disregarded. Especially Germany cannot be disregarded at all. Even if we don’t believe that they would admit us, we should push every possibility we can, and proceed with and complete the reforms for our own good. Human rights, freedoms, democracy are important for us. We are on that path. We don’t need EU, one day they will. That day, EU will have collapsed, Europe will emerge in three pieces. It is incorrect to interpret having a say in Middle East as a shift of axis. Such an expression is the statement of those who are afraid of the brightness of Turkey’s star.

We have a long lasting friendship with the U.S.A. There are some who try to spoil our relationships, but Turkey must always have a strategic stance against these. We should always look at our regional power status and relationships with global actors from the point of Turkey's geo-strategic status; we are not alone in the world, and the challenge of playing big is much further. In the future, balance of Turkish-US relationships shall bring the solution of many problems in Middle East and Near East. USA may protect Israel, and adjust its policies accordingly. That is none of our business. In the new world order, US would not damage its relationships with Turkey for Israel. Today, Turkey does everything necessary for Israel. Prime Minister Erdoğan's stance is very positive. It is Israel who is squeezed, and for what they do, they are condemned to be alone. Turkey cannot take its part in the new world order by looking at Israel. Rather it will take its geo-strategic position, being the tenth largest economy of the world. Leaders of Change Summit held on 14 – 15 March gave Istanbul the title of a center where global policies are shaped. Istanbul which has been one of the most important cities of the world throughout history, and with its unique geographical position, has become one of the most important centers of change, finance, culture and politics. The formation which promises the world’s leaders a new spirit, hints that it will be a rival to Davos, bringing together important names in its first summit. Prominent names of economy, politics and science from 22 counties discussed world’s policies. In 21 separate sessions in the forum, various matters from the global economy to Middle East issue, inter-religions dialogue, to current international crises, were discussed by competent names.

This important organization has targeted to draw the attention of the world to Turkey once again. It has been aimed at drawing attention to foreseeing and planning of the future, with regional and global scale evaluations. We support this organization to be turned into an effective and continuous platform. I think it is very important for publicity of Turkey in every field.
