Having read the article penned by Mr. Yilmaz Ozdil published in Hurriye on 6 July 2011, Dr. Zeynel Abidin Erdem, the Board Chairman of Genpa AS, bought a house for Omur Gezdiren, a war veteran, in Akcay, a place that the veteran ex-soldier was dreaming of visiting. Mr. Erdem thought that it would be a huge support to Mr. Gezdiren and his family. Moreover, Mr. Erdem completed all household items that a family needs in a cozy home: Furniture, kitchen utensils, TV set, washing machine and more.

Mr. Gezdiren and his mother visited Dr. Zeynel Abidin Erdem at Genpa’s head office in Etiler on August 26, that sacred Kadir day of Moslem people. Mr Gezdiren personally thank Mr. Erdem. Lawyer Zafer Eken, who personally went to Akcay to accomplish and finalize land registry procedures, and Dr. Mehmet Nezih Erdem, the Board Vice-Chairman of Genpa A.S., Fahri Tugay, the CEO, Erdal Malkoc, Assistant to CEO and other Genpa officers and personnel put out a warm welcome for the War Veteran with a message which conveyed that “We now have a brother in Akcay and he is called Omur”. The veteran’s eyes were shiny with happiness.

Thanks to the calm and serene feeling thanks to this moral boost, Genpa A.S. celebrated the Ramadan Feast this year with more joy than ever. We would also like to thank Mr. Yilmaz Ozdil as he covered this news in his column.
